A local secret ^.^
"Born and raised in this very village, I wish to share the most serene, untouched spots that regular tourists often miss."
If you want to catch the fresh morning air or watch the sunset over the limestone mountains, here are a few scenic cycling routes around our homestay:
The Wild Reed Fields & Lotus Ponds
A peaceful path winding through blooming reeds and lotus ponds, surrounded by green rice paddies and majestic limestone cliffs. This route is ideal for an early morning jog or a quiet afternoon bike ride.
River & Summer Rice Fields
A vast valley of rice paddies lying quietly next to a gentle river. Cycling out here in the late afternoon gives you a glimpse of local life, with buffaloes and ducks in the fields under a beautiful sunset sky.
Ban Long Ancient Pagoda & Sao Khe River
An ancient, mystical pagoda tucked against the mountainside. The area is exceptionally quiet, featuring mirror-like waters and emerald cliffs. It is a great dirt-track route for cycling, but it is best to avoid it right after heavy rain.
Chua Vang (The Golden Pagoda)
A striking pagoda built right in the center of a large lake, making it look as though it floats on the water. As dusk falls and the lights turn on, the pagoda reflects beautifully on the lake surface.
Other iconic nearby stops worth exploring:
Thai Vi Temple • Bich Dong Pagoda • Thien Ton Cave • Van Trinh Cave
